18th February 2022

1 year, 316 since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020

Woah! There have been warnings all day yesterday about Storm Eunice about to batter the U.K. Cornwall and the South East of the country - e.g. Us were in line for the worse of it. At first I thought there had been exaggeration but by 10.0am the storm started to hit. It was very noisy but luckily no tiles seem to have come off and the trees are still upright. A number of the lovely big trees in Teddington have come down and blocked the roads.

So far three people have been killed by falling debris or trees and many hundreds of thousands have no power across the country.

In the afternoon (as neither of us wanted to venture out) I pulled the greeting cards to make up at the weekend and then I started to put together the list of locations to photograph for my montage calendar.
