5th November 2022

During the exchange of emails with the Councillors I learned of a monthly farmers market at Ham Parade on the first Saturday of each month and it happened to be on today. The weather was pretty rubbish with heavy rain but we wrapped up and walked over Teddington footbridge and through Ham. It was a very good farmers market and clearly has a loyal clientele. We met our neighbours there as well who apparently regularly walk with their lovely rescue Boxer dog Daisy each month. We enjoyed cakes from the bakery and bought some olive oil from an Italian stall holder. We’ll definitely go again in the future.

Todays pic is a lovely hand crocheted post box ‘topper’ which appeared overnight from a local anonymous yarn-bomber. It is in commemoration of Armistice Day.
Love these.

@boxplayer We've had quite a few around the Borough with another one made of knitted/crocheted vegetables in Richmond! I've no idea who makes them but they really brighten up a day.
