First thing in the morning I drove over to St Margarets to take Mr Huffkins to his holiday home for the week with Meghan. It is the first time she has looked after him and I hope he behaves and comes out more for her than he does fo us! I stopped for some shopping on the way back.
Then it was last minute packing and ironing for our trip to Yorkshire tomorrow although it was not too much of an effort as I have been piling up the clothes and things I need to take in the corner of the bedroom. I even bakes a banana loaf which as usual, rose beautifully but then sank horribly after taking it out for cooling. I have tried the sa number of times but only got it to stay risen once by luck. I know it will taste OK but it looks rather sad. Therefore, I had hoped to take a before and after photo of the over-ripe bananas but in the event, here’s just the bananas!
