This morning. I finished making up the residual of Christmas cards and then headed over to Raynes Park to join Sarah and all her family to celebrate Patricks 60th birthday. I have know Sarah and Patrick for well over 30 years and we celebrated his 50th in Wimbledon Village as well. I realise that we are all getting on a bit now and I am nearer to sixty than fifty now - depressing!
Izzy is back from her home to stay for the week and also Patricks sister Kitty were there. It was a lovely lunch and great as the local restaurant know Izzy well so everyone can relax and enjoy their meal. Later, much later, we made our way back to Sarah’s house for tea and cake. Colin who had been lunching with friends up town stopped off at Raynes park and I gave him directions over to the house so he could have some cake as well!
It was a lovely day and even more special now that I know Sarah will be moving into next few months.
