Kerry! This is Kerry the Border Collie originally from County Kerry and she belongs to the owner of our local flower shop - ‘Zeldaland Flowers’ in Teddington High Street. She is somewhat of a local celebrity and most people in Teddington know her by name. She is the friendliest Collie I have ever met and really is a member of the team working in the shop. In the summer she is often to be found outside the shop on ‘meet and greet’ duty and sometime she follows customers as they leave the shop across the road so they have to bring her back home! Her hobbies are jumping for her ball - here she is in mid air - and pouncing on shadows landing delicately with all four paws together on the shadow.

I knew I wanted Kerry to be in one of my photographs as she really is a big part of Teddington local life. I don’t think she is in the shop every day but I spotted her this morning and went back later in the day to find her taking a break from duties in her bed. She was soon wide awake and posing in front of the flowers for me, however this hastily grabbed shot of her in mid leap in my favourite. I am sure she will be appearing again in the future in my project, maybe in warmer weather with the flowers outside.
A nice action shot. You should tag it with theme-play so it goes into this week's competition

@steampowered Thanks Paul - I forgot about the weekly competition (just added the tag). I had to push to ISO up to 800 so its a bit grainy but I just love Kerry so I put up with that!

Perfect timing.

@maggiemae - she is one of the happiest dogs and gets so much attention, also good that she is at work rather than at home on her own @nicolaeastwood - in your words 'snow - bring it on'! @danette Thank you, I only got one attempt and I did not quite get her totally in frame but pleased with the result
