Oh dear. Don’t forget to change the clock on your camera said my husband... yes of course... I forgot. Fairly obvious this was taken in the afternoon of the 19th and not at 16 minutes past midnight on the 20th as the metadata suggests!
I did not imagine it would be this cold on our return, we’ve dropped in temperature by 30 degrees and the weak winter sun straining to break through the grey clouds is rather depressing.
But the picture isn't depressing. The camera captures the beauty of the moment and day. The soft grey lavender light behind the beautiful black lacy leaves a soothing feeling.
