Our Walnut tree stars again. The leaves are just starting to come out. In a month or so they will turn bright red before going green so another photo could well be in order.
@angelammc@irishmamacita10@barrowlane Thank you all. Re the POV, I had to make my way through a number of bushes so I could look directly up the trunk and avoid getting nearby houses in frame. I didn't realise until much later that I was 'wearing' a load of leaves as I nipped out to pick up some things for dinner!
@maggiemae Ha! Ha! I'm laughing as you are right... walnuts will appear in due course and just as they get close to ripening, a band of grey squirrels appear and snaffle the lot. They don't even eat them, they just nip them off and the juice stains their chins and furry fronts black - they've even thrown them at me when I walk down the garden under the tree! (Despite all that I'm still fond of them)
So your tree gives you lots of opportunities for photos. Your squirrels seem to have a connection with you. What a beautiful sky that frames the black silouetted branches with their spidery limbs etching the sky.
