OK so this is not that exciting for the first day of June - I promise to try harder this month!
I actually like the converging lines into the distance and the bright green of the new foliage on the trees and, unusually, the sunshine somehow makes me feel a bit upbeat.
This month I am aiming to find some ducklings or cygnets to photograph (they are only just appearing around here), possibly a woodpecker shot (have planned a morning skulking in a bush near a nest) and I have yet to practice with the double exposure function on my camera. Watch this space!
As some of my friends on 365 have also said, apologies for my lack of comments on your photographs, I aim to put that right over the next few days. I have seen some stunning images that I feel quite ashamed about my efforts at the moment!
This is the kind of shot which seems to beckon one into the picture to see what's over the horizon, the sort of picture which makes one want to hit the road. I like pictures which make me feel something, as this one does!
