Part of our pre-Christmas celebrations is having fish and chips at the excellent 'Super Fish' in Ewell followed by a drive around looking for the most impressively decorated houses. Past trips have helped us identify Lower Morden Lane are the most impressive. The road is so well known for its decorations that lots of people 'cruise' up and down and the police now have to patrol the area to prevent traffic jams!! (Not sure what the electricity bills are like in these house)
Houses like this always used to be the high spot of the trip across south london to my father-in-law's house - I think that must have been around Morden way as well!
