This is a moment from the lantern procession through Teddington.

Local school children made their lanterns by hand and then processed through the town led by Father Christmas in his sleigh (towed by a silver estate car). Although it was tipping down, there was a great turn out with big crowds.
This must have been a lovely sight. the lanterns are so pretty, and the faces look so happy. This shot really captures the wonder of this special time.

I missed this - we went to. A Christmas lunch at Lensbury. It does look fun though - hope it becomes a regular thing
