003 - Grace's Door

This sweet little door (with a face!) belongs to Grace Heritage Center in Georgetown, TX. Originally built in 1881, it's the cutest little building that caught my eye on my walk the other day! I love finding "faces in the wild" too, so couldn't resist snapping this one.
I was admiring the green and red against that beautiful white until I read "faces in the wild". Now I can't unsee it!

What a lovely image. I've always loved arched doors.

Beautiful older church. Lots of character. Makes you wonder how many brides and grooms came through those doors to be greeted by handfuls of rice being thrown their way and well-wishers.

@aecasey right?? Even the mat at the bottom makes a lip!
@rbrettschneider ha! Me too!
@linnypinny thank you!
@marlboromaam They really are pretty.
@skipt07 It does. I bet there is a lot of history within its walls. It's still used today as a little chapel too.
@photographycrazy thank you!
