Back to Nature

Editing old files: a photo from last November taken near Louvale, Georgia. That particular day, I drove by myself from Columbus, Georgia to Fort Pierce, Florida (about 480 miles) spending several hours wandering back roads in Georgia. Of course, I paid the price (arriving home late) but it was so worth it!

Why are other locales so much more interesting than our own?

Terrific colors and an interesting subject and composition.

To answer your question I think they are more interesting because they are less familiar.

I think I recollect you posting this or a shot very similar to it. If all of us respected nature we would be much better off.

Good shot! I think we become too familiar with our own locales and then have to force ourselves to see them from a different perspective. That's not always easy to do.
