Circa 1857, an architectural salvage store in Baton Rouge, where you can buy almost anything from old doors to claw-foot bathtubs.
Taken with my new favorite thrift store film camera, a Pentax IQZoom EZY point-and-shoot.
I've completed the February film challenge! It's been wonderful rediscovering film. It has made me slow down and consider each shot rather than taking 50 and hoping one looks OK. I love the look of film and plan to continue using it... sometimes.
Great find, Diane . . and wonderful theme shot! Love the composition. That little camera does a great job and what a deal! I agree with you on the film shots. . one has to be very sure of each shot. And, you know, that's probably a good thing. We have to learn how to STUDY the photo before we snap away. Great lesson to be learned there.
Great shot- love all those vertical lines! I thought the film challenge was a great idea and I hope to take more film shots throughout the year. I do miss my 35mm SLR!
