Passalong Plant

Last year I admired these flowers in a friend's garden. She dug some up, gave them to me--and this year they're blooming in my garden.

I read that it's a custom in the south for passing along plants or swaping with a neighbor. we have given so many plants to our neigbor when ours needed splitting, etc. when I look out the window I see a nice garden on my neigbor's side as well...
this beautiful red flower would add color to my garden. beautifu, Diane.
