Flying, that is. This young blue jay is having trouble learning to fly. His parents are beside themselves when my cats go outside, squawking, swooping at them and trying to divert their attention from the baby. We're doing our part by keeping our cats in, but we have a couple of strays around, so I hope he makes it.
