After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) trailers were used as temporary shelter for people whose homes were destroyed. The program is...problematic: the trailers reportedly cost between $30,000 and $230,000, formaldehyde released made some people sick, etc. They are still around; some were used after Superstorm Sandy. These are used trailers stored by the hundreds in Louisiana.
Such a shame- you'd think with all the intelligence and computer technology we have at our fingertips that this program would have, should have been better managed and implemented. Your shot really illustrates what you wrote in the commentary.
