Fall in Lousiana: football and hurricanes

Seasonal wonders: Football and hurricanes!

This title is a little misleading: The fog is not storm-related, but machine-made, part of the pregame hype when the home team takes the field. But tropical storm Karen was fizzling in the Gulf of Mexico, causing bands of rain and very high humidity--and challenging conditions for photography. I have a weather-sealed camera, the Pentax K30, but my weather-sealed lenses aren't my favorites. The Ragin' Cajuns won and I survived.
Love the POV that gave you this incredible shot, Diane!
