About a mile from my house, two cows escaped from their pasture to graze along the road. A woman had stopped next to them to protect them from other cars. We didn't have a clue what to do: she raises pigs and I only have cats. Fortunately, a neighbor stopped, shooed them back into the pasture and tried to repair the fence.
Apparently, this was the most exciting thing that had happened recently, because the other cows gathered to watch.
They're wondering what's going on. glad to see neighbours to come to the rescue. such a pleasure to see green grass, healthy cows and what looks like sunshine. here it's bitter cold, no snow, very damp and awful windy.
lol I wouldn't have known what to do either and I'd be worried about getting too close to them. But aside from that, I love cows. I think they're cute :) Great shot and I can't believe how green everything is too!
How funny! I'm pretty sure most cows are quite docile and you probably could have shooed them back into the pasture quite easily- but you never know, so you did the right thing- and came away with a fun story and great pic for 365 too!
