Do not touch

I so wanted to touch this sculpture, because the plaque said it was bronze and yet it looked so much like driftwood. But a sign said "Do not touch...."

I Googled the process when I got home and now realize that yes, bronze can look like driftwood and several sculptors make driftwood horses and then have them cast in bronze. This one, at the Vero Beach Museum of Art, is "Saltbox" by Deborah Butterfield. If I win the lottery, I want one for my yard!
