Staircase, Norton Museum of Art

I usually love architectural details, but I find this image discordant, with too many conflicting lines. The museum is undergoing a renovation; I think the plan is to restore it more to its original form. I wonder if the staircase will be changed.

It is very abstract in its Execution but I agree with you it doesn't seem to flow very well.
