Along L20

L20 is a canal near my house with an unpaved road along it.

I think the flower is a showy rattlebox, but there are 600 species of rattlebox or rattleweed (Who knew? How did I live without Google?) so I'm not 100% sure which one this is. Showy rattlebox is a non-native plant toxic to livestock.
