Here I am, living in Florida where Northerners come to escape the cold. People think it's paradise. But I am longing for a change, maybe some mountains and yes, even cold weather. This is Blue Cypress Lake near Vero Beach. I came looking for birds. I found air boats!
Diane, l know the perfect place for you. here in Nice California. As you know we're on vacation here. The resort is nice, the weather is between 52 and 62 degrees. A few days it went up to 68. We're in a valley with mountains all around. The lake, which we see from our unit, is called Clear Lake. We've one more week before we have to worry about snow back home.
You also found beautiful blue sky reflected in the water with some amazing clouds. We will be having low tempratures for a few days. Coming to Alabama? No mountains though! ;~{
@bruni Wow--you picked a great place to vacation! My son used to live in Napa, and I loved it there. We went to Lake Berryessa a couple of times, but never Clear Lake.
