Tug, Restored by eudora

Tug, Restored

There is a boatyard in Fort Pierce that stores boats in various stages of decline and renovation. It's mostly wrecks, but this one has been almost completely restored.

I've been nosing around this place for a couple of years; early on, I asked someone if it was OK to take pictures and was assured it was. Today a self-appointed "watchman" followed me around, asked me for my business card and made me rather uncomfortable. I don't think I'll go back!
It would make me uncomfortable too. This looks like a fabulous renovation. All shiny and new. Nice capture of the details

Shame that he felt that way, and that he felt it necessary to push his weight around just to feel important. This one is a beauty.

Hard to read that one- does he think you're collecting info for someone or maybe he thinks you might do boat portraits? I guess you should have asked why he wanted your card. Well, I'd be hesitant to go back as well- unless someone was with me. Good shot!

They did a great job restoring this tug boat. I wouldn't feel comfortable being followed around while taking picture. best to stay away.
