"They're painting the carriage house yellow!" by eudora

"They're painting the carriage house yellow!"

"What color was it before?"
"White, like a carriage house is supposed to be. Somebody needs to take a picture of it before they paint the rest of it."
So of course I did.

My friend Peggy says there once was a railroad depot in St. Lucie Village, where she has lived all her life. The depot is gone, but the carriage house remains. The rich people used to arrive by train from up North; their carriages were stored here so they could get to their winter homes over on the Indian River. I've driven by this building many times, but never knew its history.
I love the bold color and the angle you chose. What do they use this building for now?

@allie912 Peggy thinks it's just used for storage.

Someone needs to talk to the painter- I think he missed a few spots unless they were going for the shabby chic look! Your angle is excellent to show the before and after. I'm with your friend though- the yellow looks crazy!

I noticed the same thing @olivetreeann did. An interesting history and you choice of composition shows it off so nicely
