It's supposed to be fun!

Posed group shots are not my favorites, but prom is serious for many parents. They lined the girls up, telling them how to stand, trying in vain to arrange them by height. Some said "Smile!" Two demanded, "No smiles. Look serious." When it was my turn, they asked if they had to look serious. "Have fun! Laugh!"

Capturing rather than creating moments is a better approach in my book. This is perfect.
