This is the ruin of Tezcuco Plantation in Darrow, Louisiana. It was once open for tours, dinners and overnight guests. I had visited several times, including once with my son during his Christmas break from college when we took photos with our film cameras 😃. Then one morning in 2002 we learned that it had burned. The guests all escaped, but the main house was completely destroyed. All that remains are foundation and columns.
