I had planned to go to a blues performance last night and hoped to get a photo of Henry Gray, a 93-year-old blues pianist. We couldn't go, so here is a photo of Bayou Teche. Not very wide or impressive--hard to imagine that steamboats once docked nearby.
I think this is a magnificent image even if it is not of your blues pianist. Using black-and-white to process it seems to be the perfect choice as it lends itself to the vintage feel of the subject. You need to tag it for the technique challenge let is vintage
The black and white feels good. great processing. too bad you had to miss the performance of the of the blues pianist. hope you get to see him another time.
