The day before we were scheduled to fly home, I had the chance to watch sunset over Organ Mountains. The next day we were thrust into the chaos of holiday travel--hours in the airport waiting for a flight that was eventually cancelled, attempts to retrieve already checked baggage, etc. But it was all worth it to spend Christmas with our son and his family.
