@olivetreeann Thanks, Ann. When I entered, a sign said "No Photography," so I put the lens cap on my camera and prepared to put it away. (I'm a rule follower.) But they said feel free to take photos, so I did not argue. Most of the photographs were framed and the glass reflected the light, but this one was blown up like a huge poster.
Contradictory rules. In a place like that I always cheat a bit and sneak a shot or two (or three or four). Beautiful shot here. So reminiscent of the past.
I think in recent years, most museums allow pictures without flash, unless it is a traveling exhibit with separate admission. In that case the rules are set by the curator of the exhibit.
