An 1851 church, built near the town of Climax, GA. I love old rural churches and their histories! The Presbyterian Church in the U.S. split in the years before the Civil War. The info indicates they are not sure where this congregation stood on the issue of slavery.
I really like this shot- although I think I'd like to see more detail in that first pillar and the wall behind it. But I love the contrast of looking into the building through the open door.
