My two grandchildren in New Mexico are out of school, at least until August. Their schools post some assignments online. My son and daughter-in-law give them work from textbooks and Khan Academy. The tenth-grader has an AP test to study for. And I am reading with them--such a joy! It gives me something to focus on and makes us all feel less isolated.
Reading with them is such a fun idea! I gave my niece a book recommendation last week — it was a book my daughter, another niece, and I had read a few years ago. My daughter thought it was too scary for me to suggest!
