Our son and family rented this camp in Hopedale, Louisiana so they could fish. My granddaughters were amazed at the houses, which are raised to avoid flooding.
We had a great time, with everyone finding something they liked to do. The fishermen and -women tried out the new boat and caught redfish and speckled trout. The girls crabbed and explored the area. I, of course, took pictures!
That sounds and looks like such a great place to stay. I've always wanted to do that with my sons and their families- but everyone is busy in their own world. So glad you had such a good time!

This looks like a fun place to stay! When my kids were little we went on a couple of trips with my parents and always had so much fun. I’m glad you got to go with your family. My mom doesn’t travel so much anymore but up until this year we’ve spent at least a month with her in the summer. Because of the pandemic, I’m afraid to go visit this summer. We are still largely quarantined here.
