I started volunteering at the animal shelter today. While closed during the pandemic, the shelter still had to accept animals, but there were no adoptions. As many animals as possible were placed in foster homes and the rest were cared for in the shelter by staff. Now it is open for adoptions by appointment and allows three volunteers at a time. My job was to socialize with cats, a cat lady's dream. This is Diego.
