These are beautiful! We were just talking about persimmons this weekend. They had many for sale at the outdoor fruit stands in Chinatown and I was telling my son that about the trees that grew on the grounds of the American Horticultural Society when I worked there eons ago. One of my co-editors used to go out and pick them at lunch time. Despite that, I’ve never tried one!
