Today is my husband Marshall's 80th birthday. He has Parkinson's Disease and dementia. In this picture from happier, healthier times, he is holding our youngest grandchild, also named Marshall.
Such precious memories for you Diane. I can imagine how hard it must be to watch these two diseases take hold of your wonderful husband. I hope pictures like this give you strength. I continue to pray for you and your husband.
What a sweet photo memory. I've been wondering about your husband. I have a good friend just about that same age who also has Parkinson's and dementia. His hilarious nature still shows through but it's so much more difficult for him - hard to see the struggle.
