St. Paul's Church in Bayou Goula, Louisiana was built in 1871 and severely damaged by Hurricane Gustav in 2009. It is now owned by a nonprofit group that is restoring the building for use by the community for weddings, etc. The last time I visited it was open but is now closed as the foundation is being repaired.
