Yosemite National Park. Shot on film in 1998. Scan processed in Luminar.
I tried to replace a flat sky with a preset. The direction of the light seems off, but I've already spent WAY too much time on this one photo! I DO like the way Luminar was able to bring out more details in the landscape. Any editing advice is welcome!
Continuing a project on sacred places, I'm adding some natural places that evoke a sense of reverence, where we meet something beyond ourselves.
Hi Diane, amazing photo! I'm not strong with landscapes and I use photoshop, so I'm not sure it will help but photoshop is changing the sky with one button now. New great tool but I didn't have a chance to try yet.
I think that luminar did a great job with giving very a nice snap to this. How do you like luminar? I've never used lightroom but am learning to use luminar which is a much more economical alternative.
@joysabin I do like Luminar, though I often just use Photos to sort and make quick adjustments. I am still mourning Apple's Aperture program. When that began to die, I used Lightroom for a time, while you could still buy the program, but I don't like paying for a subscription. Several years ago, I tried taking a Photoshop class at the community college. The 18-year-olds already knew so much, and I was lost by the second class!
