My son and his family invited me on a Caribbean cruise, which left from New Orleans. This is the Industrial Canal, which connects Lake Pontchartrain with the Mississippi River. This part of the city has flooded many times when the levees gave way, most recently during Hurricane Katrina.
We were gone for a week and I had limited internet, so I'll be posting and catching up.
