We didn't get as much snow as was predicted yesterday, but we sure had the fog and clouds! The city was "socked" in and very foggy/cloudy. I decided to head up into the mountains to see if I could get above the clouds. I had success, but it was still pretty foggy! I love seeing the clouds below! It's not exactly how I wanted this shot to turn out, but it will do for today!
It is a very ncie shot. I love all of the different aspects to the photo; clouds, trees, snow covered peaks. Well done. Thx for your nice comment on my photo.
beautiful photo. It looks like you might be in the Colorado Springs area (I'm up in Denver). You have some beautiful photos of the area and I look forward to seeing more of such a lovely area.

Gorgeous! Love it especially in b&w. I'll be heading for the mountains at the end of the week. I am so looking forward to seeing their majestic beauty again.
@warmbreeze43 Thank you! @dejongdd Thank you so much, Deb! Hope you have a wonderful trip to the mountains! Supposed to be great weather here the rest of the week!
Wow, what a beautiful vista.....your landscape shots make me want to jump in the car and head for the mountains! You could sell them as inspirational posters with some words of wisdom attached!! :)
This really is amazing! I love all those layers the trees then cloud back into trees then the mountains back into cluds each one seems to frame the other. And the B/W conversion is perfect love that high contrast really suits it. You can really get lost in it!
Wendy, if only I liked the mountains I'd give this a 10.......ha!! I love the layers of mists within the ranges and such a lively composition. Sigh.... I hate living so far from my spirit's home. My sierra mountains are a good five hour drive from here.
@zabcoloma Thank you Zab!
