These are the ski slopes in Breckenridge, Colorado. Such a wonderful place to ski, but I'll tell you, I sure don't recommend spring skiing!! It was so icey and just plain dry this year! I heard it was one of the three worst years of skiing this year, due to no snow and higher temperatures. Sure pretty though, and enjoyed just getting away for a few days!
Just Beautiful! My Best Friend lived there for awhile and she was a photographer also! Thank you for sharing i have never seen such beauty....the colors are awesome!
Beautiful shot Wendy. Perhaps next Winter we'll return to normal snowfall/snowpack. Our sons live near Lake Tahoe, Sugar Bowl Ski Area, and last year they got over 60 feet, this year sparse.
This sure is pretty! It looks very sunny there. My friend was skiing in Colorado last week too and it looked pretty barein her shots too. @triciabauman We are lucky we still have heaps of snow and right now it's dumping down. But our ski hill closes in less than two weeks so it'll all be wasted :(
@kiwichick It has been terrible for skiing this year! Last year we had so muc snow and even after the slopes closed, some resorts opened back up for more skiing! I don't think that will happen this year!
