Off the Beaten Path

This is along Last Dollar Road in the San Juan Mountain area near Telluride Colorado. It is a 4-wheel drive road and just speckled with many changing aspens! I almost turned around at one point as I transversed some deep puddles and rough, steep areas in this road. I decided to continue on and am glad I did. It's about 21 miles long and put me out ~3 miles from Telluride. Just amazing scenery! I loved how the trees made a canopy here over the road.

P.S. Best viewed large if you have time!
Beautiful capture, gorgeous sight.

Those aspens are fantastic - absolutely love this area of Colorado - haven't been down this particular "road" as we don't have 4 wheel drive, but been in that area in the fall and it is a definite "do not miss" sight. Made a really excellent composition of these beautiful trees.
