***Filler alert!! I was going back through some photos I took while in Oregon in December and came across this shot. I processed today and wanted to post to get your opinions on this shot. Thank you all so much for your comments and support!
@philipmad1 Thank you so much Philip! Yes, all the rock formations are real! This was taken at Bandon Beach, Oregon during low tide and I could walk freely around most of these formations, until some waves would sneak through! Thank you again!
The composition is wonderful. Beautiful as it is, and I also can imagine separate panoramics of the top and bottom halfs. Maybe it should get three favs.
You have me drooling - what an absolutely gorgeous shot! The lighting, clarity, color, composition - unbelievable. Fav! So glad it surfaced from your trip.
Like the leading line. The sky is somewhat bothersome to my eyes with the blown out sun and grainy look. It is also a bit hard to figure out where to put my eye...what is the main focus of the shot. I assume you wanted honest input?
Wow! Thank you all for your amazing comments, favs and support! I am just overwhelmed by the wonderful response! Thank you again so much for your feedback!
@jgpittenger Thank you Jane for your honest feedback! I liked how the sky mimicked the curves and texture in the sand. For me, the sun looked like this setting in the sky. I did use a 3-stop ND filter to balance out the brighter sky. Also, I wanted to capture the grandness of the scene and draw the eye through the photo leading the viewer to the amazing rock/haystack formations at this location. Sure appreciate your feedback as always!
We all want to go to Bandon beach next December!!! Fav
