When preparing for this journey, I kept viewing the weather daily, trying to predict the right morning to come to Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park, Utah. I had planned on the morning before this shot and changed plans last minute due to seeing it would be an overcast morning. I had one more day and hoped for the best. Driving up to this site, I could tell it was going to be unpredictable due to the low clouds. I was pleasantly surprised and felt so fortunate to witness such amazing transformations in the clouds and fog...I just hoped I could capture the essence of this spectacular morning!
