Taken at Great Sand Dunes National Park at sunset Sunday evening. The day was brisk and windy with clouds most of the evening. I kept waiting for an opportune moment and hoped for a break in the clouds at sunset. There was an opening just on the horizon that promised to reveal the sun just as it set. I pre-visualized this moment and it didn't disappoint. I only has seconds to capture a few shots before the sun went down below the mountains to the west.
