This shot taken in the Italian Alps was a rush to capture the reflections in the water before the winds rippled the mirrored shot I planned on photographing! I decided on the black and white processing to reveal the amazing light and shadows. The contrasts reflected the many contrasts of our daily lives. My hope was the capture the joy and appreciation for something much greater than me. I think traveling and witnessing nature has given me a much deeper revelation that I am surrounded by something more grandeur...the power of the natural beauty we are blessed with, free of charge before our very eyes.
