Here is another pano from last week on top of Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. I had set my tripod up in a location to capture Long's Peak (seen here) and a view to the west to leave my options open. I am so glad I did! My previous post shows the amazing light and sunset I got to the the west and I was hoping for more drama over Long's Peak, but was happy the light played a little bit and displayed some color on the peaks and clouds. No matter what...it's always a blessing to be surrounded by nature and the beauty that unfolds is only a bonus!
Beautiful. My son sent me a pic from his hotel room in Colorado Springs yesterday. Pike's Peak was covered in snow still, as well. They are heading down to NM to hike for 11 days. Some of the higher elevations there still have snow, too.
