The peaceful last light as it hit the American Basin area in Colorado a few weeks ago. Such a grand scene and for scale, there is a little orange tent on the right side of the photo that shows the basins magnificence. It's moments like this that I'll cherish and realize how the fast paced life can be balanced by being out in nature and taking in the power of our mountains.
Stunning landscape. I'm glad you pointed out the tent! Fav. My son and his family visited this area in early July and liked it so much they are planning to go back next year.
