Taken in the San Juan Mountains, this single beautiful columbine (Colorado's State flower) beckoned to be photographed! It was such trial in patience to capture this flower with no wind. This is a stacked photo for the foreground shot at a fast shutter speed to capture the stillness of the columbine and a longer exposure to slow down the movement of the waterfall.
