This praying mantis, photographed just outside our office door, was gearing up to jump to a nearby fern but couldn't quite muster the courage. I went back inside for a moment and he had made the leap. See him on the fern in extras: http://365project.org/falcon11/extras
@pdulis I just bought a used Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM macro autofocus lens, and I really love it. I had test driven it earlier this year, and jumped on the opportunity to buy it when I found one at a reasonable price.
