Field of snow

Someone wrote a poem in my autograph book that I have never forgotten. It said:

Life is like a field of freshly fallen snow,
Be careful how you walk on it,
For every mark will show.

OK, I've got it. Your Get-Pushed Challenge is....use manual mode to meter for and expose a scene that is mostly snow. :) Looks like you have lots of opportunity for snow photography. If you're not metering to compensate for a mostly-white scene, you'll find great reward in practicing this. See what you can come up with and if you have questions, just let me know...I'm happy to point you in the right direction.

@mabelkitty You know, I was actually thinking about doing this!

I have the same problems taking pictures of Angus cattle (black), black cats, and my border collie who has a predominately black face. The features get lost.

I am going to enjoy this challenge. Thank you!
